***CANCELED** Shape Note Singers in the Court House

Maine Shape Note Singers are hosting a workshop/demo on Saturday September 16th from 10am to 2pm at the Pownalborough Court House, 23 Court House Rd, in Dresden Maine.
Shape Note Singing is a musical practice and tradition of social singing from music books printed in “shape notes”. All singing is done with no instruments and dates back to the early 19th century.
Come to join in singing and or ask questions and just enjoy the music.
The event is free but a donation is always welcome and helps keep our historic properties alive.
