March 29 – Calligraphy
This workshop offers an opportunity to try one’s hand at calligraphy, the art of lettering. Addie Miller will discuss the popularity of calligraphy in the 18th and 19th centuries, describe the tools used during that time, and guide participants through lettering exercises. The session will also explore the etiquette of calling cards and suggest ways calligraphy can be used today.
